The Department of Communication at BNU-HKBU United International
College, Zhuhai, China, has three open positions for the Public
Relations and Advertising program and Media and Communication Studies
program to start in Sept 2023. Review of applications will start

*1)*Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor / Senior
Lecturer / Lecturer in Public Relations and Advertising

Job Description: Candidates with expertise in the following areas:
Public Relations (theory, writing, crisis communication, campaign,
etc.), Media Planning, Event Planning, Integrated Marketing
Communication, Digital Media, Consumer Behavior, Advertising. The
positions will include teaching in the Public Relations and Advertising
Program, supervising capstone projects, advising undergraduate and
graduate students, and providing service to the department and the

Job Requirement: Candidates should have a PhD degree or a Master degree
with extensive working experience in a related discipline. Successful

strong impact, such as publication in high quality, internationally
recognized, indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will

Job Description: The programme of Media and Communication Studies (MCOM)
in the Department of Communication at UIC invites applications from
student-centered scholar-practitioners broadly trained in one or more of
the following fields: 1) journalism; 2) digital media; and 3) media
literacy. We welcome candidates with relevant work experience and
research interests in digital and multimedia production. There are
opportunities to develop innovative pedagogy and collaborative research.

you can contribute to our research and teaching environment.
Job Requirement: All applicants should hold a PhD degree in Media and
Communications with a commensurable research profile. Applicants with an
MA and extensive industry experience will also be considered. Other
requirements include a firm commitment to teaching and tutoring students
as well as engaging in theory-based qualitative or quantitative
research. Teaching responsibilities of 2-3 courses per semester may
include courses related to media theory, media literacy, digital media,
international media, and others of the applicant's own interests.
Research experience in political economy of media, media literacy, and
digital/new media-related areas will be an added asset. Preference will
be given to candidates who can undertake original research leading to
high-quality outcomes. Academic rank will be determined in accordance
with successful candidate's experience and accomplishments.
