AMCAP (Association of Media Communication Academic Professional)
announces Third AMCAP Doctoral Spring School 2022 (February 06-13).
The venue is IQTM, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Third
edition of AMCAP Doctoral Spring School 2022 is being organized in
collaboration with Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), Department
of Journalism SCS University of the Punjab, Institute of Quality and
Technology Management (IQTM) University of the Punjab and Intentional
Association of Media and Communication Research (IAMCR).
It is 8-days ECREA (European Communication Research & Education
Association) style Doctoral Spring School offering One-on-One Mentoring,
Workshops, Lectures, Panel Discussions, Seminars; Projects and Visits.
Who can apply?
1. Participant
Currently enrolled in any University in PhD degree (Media/ Communication
OR related Social Sciences discipline i.e. Sociology/ Political Science/
Gender Studies with research focusing on media and communication)
2. Observer
Aspiring PhD scholars, faculty and media professionals.
How to apply? All participants are required to send an abstract (up to
500 words) to (amcap92ss /at/ gmail.com)
Observers will send an email showing their intent (no abstract required)
Deadlines:
Abstract Submission: November 05, 2021
Abstract Acceptance Notification: November 15, 2021
Registration Fee Payment: November 25, 2021
Extended Abstract Submission: December 05, 2021
Spring School Dates: February 06-13, 2022
Registration Fee:
Local Participant: PKR 20,000
Local Observer: PKR 15,000
Foreign Participant: US$ 250
Foreign Observer: US$ 200
Please note: 20 % discount for AMCAP members and Scholarships are also
available
Fee must be paid before the submission of extended abstract
