The successful candidate will have significant newsroom experience and 
possess highly developed digital journalism skills embracing news 
gathering, story development, news writing, multimedia storytelling and 
mojo (mobile journalism). They will also understand how journalism 
intersects with social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and 
Instagram, and how these platforms are used to package and promote the 
news. They will be able to develop and innovate student journalism 
on/TikTok///and other emerging formats. The successful candidate will 
play a key role in the delivery of practical journalism, enhancing our 
existing provision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
