We are pleased to inform you that Radiofonias' 2021.1 issue is online, with the monograph “College radios in times of attacks on science”: https://periodicos.ufop.br/radiofonias/issue/view/297 <https://periodicos.ufop.br/radiofonias/issue/view/297>.

Radiofonias – Journal of Studies in Audio Media is a free access quarterly publication, index H5 = 5 on Google Scholar, with no actual publication costs (APC), which accepts submissions in Portuguese, Spanish and English, authored or co-authored by doctors. It is co-edited by the Postgraduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP), by the Convergence and Journalism Research Group and by the Radio and TV Center (NRTV) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil.

We took the opportunity to announce the extension, until July 30, of the call for papers for the dossier “30 years of radio studies – The role of the Intercom Radio and Audio Media Research Group”, which is co-edited by the USP professor, Eduardo Vicente. The journal also publishes free theme articles, which can be submitted continuously, as well as reviews and interviews.
