[Commlist] Fully Funded Practice as Research Phd at Film and Television Studies, Warwick

A fully funded PhD scholarship (a Warwick Collaborative Fellowship, to 
be precise) has just been awarded. This Practice as Research PhD in 
Applied Screen Studies represents an exciting new relationship with The 
Pod, a ground-breaking secondary Mental Health Service in Coventry, 
where the applicant would be embedded part-time.

The PhD is entitled 'Using Film to Effect Change: Mental Health, Social 
Advocacy and the Moving Image'. We're now looking for an outstanding 
researcher-filmmaker to explore, among other things, the making and 
sharing of film as a transformational act as understood both through the 
Pod’s rights-based practice and ethical film theory.
