[Commlist] Funded Film PhD & studentship at Trinity College Dublin on Experiments in Digital Screen Culture

Applications are sought for a fully-funded PhD studentship (four years) 
on the research project ‘Experiments in Digital Screen Culture: from 
Avant-Garde Film to Augmented Reality.’

The award comprises the student’s PhD tuition fees (EU or non-EU) and an 
annual stipend of €17,316. Deadline for applications: 30th June 2021.

This Provost’s PhD Project award provides a unique opportunity for a 
doctoral student to engage in research in digital screen studies at 
Trinity College Dublin, starting in September 2021. The successful 
applicant will be based in the Department of Film in the School of 
Creative Arts and enrolled in Trinity’s Structured PhD programme.

The studentship is aimed at graduates with a background in 
Film/Media/Screen Studies, who will complete a PhD on a topic related to 
the research project ‘Experiments in Digital Screen Culture: from 
Avant-Garde Film to Augmented Reality,’ led by Dr. Jennifer O’Meara.
