*Call for poster presentations: “New Narratives. Interpretation and 
cognition”*

International one-day working seminar “New Narratives. Interpretation 
and cognition” is announcing a call for poster presentations for PhD 
students and young researchers.

The seminar is organized by OFENT ( Observatorio de Ficción Española y 
Nuevas Tecnologías,  director: Dr Charo Lacalle ) research group, with 
the support of Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad. It will be held 
at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Department of Communication 
sciences and Journalism on the 18th of December 2018 (see the Program at

Federico Montanari (Università degli Studi di Modena-Reggio Emilia, Italia)

Carlos Scolari (Universitat Pompeu Fabra)

Nicola Dusi (Università degli Studi di Modena-Reggio Emilia, Italia)

Alfredo Tenoch Cid Jurado (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana 
Xochimilco, México)

Carlos Isaac González (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México)

The deadline for poster presentation proposals is the 10th of December 
2018.   An abstract of 150 – 200 worlds, with a title, name and PhD 
program of the applicant is to be emailed to Sara Narviaza 
((saranarviaza /at/ gmail.com) <mailto:(saranarviaza /at/ gmail.com)>).

Participation is free of charge. The participants will be notified of 
their acceptance by December 13th  2018.

The posters’ format is: A0 (1189 x 849 mm)

Font size between 20 and 40

Language: English Spanish or Catalan

Title: Name, thesis supervisor, institutional logo

Structure of the text: introduction, methodology, results, discussion 
and conclusion (the details of each depend on which stage the research 
is at)
