We are pleased to announce that Issue 15 of/Alphaville: Journal of Film
and Screen Media/“I-Docs as Intervention: The Poetics and Politics of
Polyphony” is now online athttp://www.alphavillejournal.com/Issue15.html
Edited by Judith Aston and Stefano Odorico, and devoted to interactive
documentary, the issue contains a manifesto by Patricia Zimmermann and a
range of peer-reviewed articles (byAmir Husak, Anna Wiehl,Paolo Favero,
Judith Aston and Stefano Odorico), interviews (withSharon
DanielandFlorian Thalhofer) and case-study discussions
(byElizabethMiller,Daniel Fetzner and Martin Dornberg).Through the lens
of the concept of polyphony, the pieces together address in a
compellingly multifaceted way this new field of nonfiction practice.
