*Registration for non-presenters to join the ECREA Pre-Conference "Towards a polyphony of memory? Media, Communication and Memory in the Digital Age" in Lugano, Switzerland*

Date and time: Wednesday the 31st of October, 09:00 to 17:30
Location: USI Università della Svizzera italiana, Via Giuseppe Buffi 13, Lugano, Switzerland
Room: tba

The conference is hosted by the ECREA Communication History Section and is organized by Manuel Menke and Berber Hagedoorn. Thanks to outstanding submissions, we were able to put together a great program. It includes a keynote by Theo Mäusli about "Memory as a public service: On the capacity of public service media as a social memory holder", a podium on comparative perspectives on memory and digital archives, several presentations on digital memory and right wing populism, social movements, counterpublics and new technologies. Last but not least there will be an art performance with a short film presentation titled "Memories wrapped in paper planes" and a Q+A with the artist Antonia Rehnen.
