*CALL FOR PAPERS*

*Theme: Narratives and Work*

**

Special Issue of the international and interdisciplinary, peer‐reviewed journal *Communication and Language at Work (CLaW)*.

Guest editor: Marianne Wolff Lundholt, Head of Center for Narratological Studies, Department of Design and Communication, University of Southern Denmark.

This special issue sets out to study the interrelation between narratives and work within a broad context of organizational and institutional frameworks and research fields.

A wide range of topics and approaches is envisioned for the special issue. Although only suggestive of some of the welcome possibilities, topics may include:

−Narratives and management

−Narratives and external communication

−Narratives and crises

−Narratives within NGOs, public or privateorganizations

−Narratives and health communication

Empirical, theoretical and conceptual texts of significant originality will be considered for publication. CLaW welcomes contributions that seek to enhance our understanding of organizational behavior and communication by investigating relevant aspects from numerous approaches and disciplines.

Contributions may pertain to, e.g., personal communication, management communication, change, knowledge and innovation management, power and control, democracy and participation, organizational learning, and the role of language and linguistic exchanges in organizations. The application of critical theories is appreciated, however, CLAW does not subscribe to a specific research paradigm.

We kindly invite you to submit original research papers, research notes, book reviews, and other forms of scholarly texts. CLaW is an established (BFI 1) and peer reviewed platform for publishing research‐ based texts relating to the role of communication and language in organizational settings. CLaW publishes biannually. All methodological approaches are welcomed.
