[ecrea] Event: China's Possible Futures: Independent Cinema and Hong Kong

We would like to draw your attention to a forthcoming event entitled 
'*China's Possible Futures: Independent Cinema and Hong Kong*', held 
next Saturday, 27 January 2018, at the Birkbeck Cinema, London. Two Hong 
Kong-related films, /Ten Years/ (2016) and /The Rose of the Name/ 
(2014), will be shown.**Professor Mette Hjort (University of Copenhagen) 
and Professor Rod Stoneman (National University of Ireland, Galway) will 
present papers there. Dr Ruby Cheung (University of Southampton) will be 
the respondent, and with Professors Hjort and Stoneman, will participate 
in the panel discussion chaired by Dr Emma Sandon (Birkbeck, University 
of London).
