Welcome to list commlist
Wed Dec 12 22:30:45 GMT 2018
Welcome back to the (commlist /at/ commlist.org), managed by Nico Carpentier (see http://nicocarpentier.net).
The majordomo software, which was used for the commlist, broke down. Some of you received no emails, others received 5 empty messages. These were harmless, but not exactly what the commlist was for. Because of this, the commlist will, from now on, use a different server. This is (hopefully) a permanent change. Please note that messages will come from (commlist /at/ commlist.org), in case you need to adjust your filters. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Please save this message for future reference. Thank you.
If you ever want to REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, you can unsubscribe your email address at the webpage of the mailing list (http://commlist.org/). Please be careful to make sure that you unsubscribe the email address that you used to subscribe (and not some variation of it.)
On that same webpage (http://commlist.org/) you will find the guidelines for POSTING messages on the commlist. Please read these instructions very carefully before sending a posting request.
If you ever need to get in CONTACT with the owner of the list (e.g., if you have trouble unsubscribing, or have questions about the list itself), send an email to <(nico.carpentier /at/ vub.ac.be)>.
The ARCHIVE of the commlist can be accessed here: http://commlist.org/.
Please keep the nature and objectives of the commlist in mind (based on list info file):
The Commlist is a free (academic) information service to the academic community, and is organised on a voluntary basis. All are welcome to subscribe to this information resource (or not). Its exclusive objective is to disseminate academic information on communication and media studies related conferences, vacancies, and publications.
