[ecrea] Summer School on Linguistics, Cognition and Culture | St. Petersburg, Russia

The 16th annual New York-St. Petersburg Institute of Linguistics, 
Cognition and Culture (NYI-2018) is an advanced interdisciplinary summer 
school focusing on critical culture/media studies, generative 
linguistics, and cognitive science. NYI is open to PhD students and 
young researchers from all relevant backgrounds and countries. All 
classes are taught in English. Dormitory space and visa support available

Participants create their own study program from seminars in the 
following fields:

- Cultural Studies (Critical Cultural Studies, Women’s & Gender Studies, 
Film & Media Studies,…)
- Generative Linguistics (Syntax, Semantics, Phonology, Morphology, 
Computational)
- Cognitive Science (Language & Mind, Ambiguity, Consciousness)
