*Revista Mediterránea de Comunicación (RMC) / Mediterranean Journal of
Communication (MJC) *publishes peer-reviewed research, review and
theoretical articles related to commercial communication, advertising,
journalism or broadcasting. RMC/ MJC focuses mainly on research on
Mediterranean countries. Manuscripts from geographically bordering and
culturally twinned countries are also valued as long as they represent
relevant experiences of interest to the Mediterranean zone. Revista
Mediterránea de Comunicación (RMC)/Mediterranean Journal of
Communication (MJC) welcomes interdisciplinary articles on the basis of
its originality, importance, interdisciplinary interest and rigorous
methodology. Revista Mediterránea de Comunicación (RMC)/Mediterranean
Journal of Communication (MJC) is an open access journal interested in
coming trends affecting communication. Each year we edit a unique
electronic volume but with two semestral issues. The first one is
published on January 1st and number two is published on July 1st. We
publish in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian, Catalan,
Euskera and Galician language. In any case we will always publish
metadata in Spanish and English.
- *Education, communication and health promotion* coordinated by Dr
Francisco García García (Complutense University of Madrid, Spain) and
Carlos Gurpegui Vidal (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Spain), to be
published in July 2018 (V9N2). Deadline for submissions: 15 April 2018.
- *LED generation: education, communication, media competence and
smartphones* coordinated by Dr Ignacio Aguaded (University of Huelva,
Spain) and Dr Eliana Nagamini (Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil), to be
published in 2018 (V9N2). Deadline for submissions: 15 April 2018.
- *The vulnerability connected to digital uses* coordinated by Dr.
Antonio García Jiménez (University Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain) and
Dra. Ana Jorge (Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Portugal) will be
published in January 2019 (V10N1). Deadline for submissions: October 1,
2018.
- *Prostitution and mass media: from the controversy to the social
innovation* coordinated by Dr. Carolina Justo von Lurzer (CONICET / UBA,
Argentina) and Dr. María Cruz Alvarado (University of Valladolid, Campus
María Zambrano of Segovia, Spain) will be published in January 2019
(V10N1).Deadline for submissions: October 1, 2018.
- *Advertising Self-regulation. Consumer protection against commercial
communication* coordinated by Dr. Clara Muela Molina (University Rey
Juan Carlos, Madrid, España) and Dr. Luisa Agante (University of Porto,
Portugal) will be published in July 2019 (V10N2). Deadline for
submissions: April 1, 2019.
- *Future perspectives in communication: integrated advertising*
coordinated by Dr. Lidia Maestro Espínola (International University of
La Rioja, Spain), Dr. David Cordón Benito, (International University of
La Rioja, Spain) and Dra. Natalia Abuín Vences (University Complutense
of Madrid, Spain) will be published in July 2019 (V10N2). Deadline for
submissions: April 1, 2019.
