/Film Criticism/is seeking reviews of the following books for our 
upcoming Summer 2018 and Winter 2019 issues. Reviews should be no more 
than 1000 words and should use Chicago style endnotes.


Summer 2018 (due Apr. 15)

  * Jon Kraszewski, /Reality TV/(Routledge, 2017)
  * Kriss Ravetto-Biagioli, /Mythopoetic Cinema: On the Ruins of
    European Identity/(Columbia UP, 2017)
  * Alexander Zahlten, /The End of Japanese Cinema: Industrial Genres,
    National Times, and Media Ecologies/(Duke UP, 2017)


Winter 2019 (due Oct. 1)

  * Jans B. Wager, /Jazz and Cocktails: Rethinking Race and the Sound of
    Film Noir/(University of Texas Press, 2017)
  * Pooja Rangan, /Immediations: The Humanitarian Impulse in
    Documentary/(Duke UP, 2017)
  * Blair Davis, /Movie Comics: Page to Screen/Screen to Page/(Rutgers
    UP, 2017)

If you’re interested, please email book review editor Alice Leppert 
((aleppert /at/ ursinus.edu)) with the title of the book you’d like to review, 
along with a brief bio that details your areas of expertise. I am hoping 
to assign books during the next couple of weeks.
