[ecrea] Winter school 2018 Knowledges of the future

we are pleased to announce that the call for participation

of the Winter School organized by Next Generation Global Studies in 
Padova, Italy, is now open.

Titled /Knowledges of the future. Professions of the future. Living in 
precarious times/, the 2018 edition will engage in an interdisciplinary 
and multi-perspective reflection on the meanings and implications of 
living in precarious times; and will address the following themes:

/Precariousness as a challenge to education and to academic work
Discourses of human capital, skills, competences and professionalization
Clashing narratives of innovation and technologies
Feminist knowledges and practices/

We kindly invite you to circulate this note among your PhD students.

Two schiolarships are available for students from non-European regions, 
and from low income countries and countries in democratic transition.
