The Department of Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London, invites applications for a twelve-month Teaching Fellowship in Political Communication, tenable from 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2018. Salary is £41,458 to £49,059 per annum, including London Allowance.

You will make important contributions to the delivery of the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in political communication, including the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation students. You will be an effective team player and an active and vital member of this busy and intellectually vibrant Department.

For this Teaching Fellowship we are seeking someone who can supplement existing offerings and fill gaps in our 2017/18 curriculum, particularly at third year and Masters level. The Department would welcome teaching support in the areas of digital politics, political journalism, political marketing, and/or political communication in comparative and/or regional perspective, but will certainly consider candidates able to offer specialist courses in other areas at the meeting point of politics, international relations, media studies and communication.

Having your PhD awarded by 1 September 2017 is desirable, but not a requirement.
