*Centre for Mobilities Research (CeMoRe) Visiting Fellowships 2017/18 <http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/cemore/research/fellowships/> at Lancaster University*

**

We invite applications to our annual CeMoRe visiting fellowships schemeat Lancaster University. We encourage applications from scholars and artists whose research interests resonate with those of CeMoRe. Fellowships are open to junior and senior scholars, post-doctoral researchers (or, for those without a PhD, a track record of research relevant to the work of CeMoRe).

The fellowship must be taken-up between October 2017 and June 2018. If possible, we encourage applicants to consider arranging their fellowship to coincide with the joint Cemore, T2M, and Cosmobilities ‘Mobile Utopia’ Conference 2-5 November 2017 in Lancaster – see http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/t2mc2c/

The fellow will be awarded a maximum of £2,000 which may be used to cover expenses such as travel, accommodation in Lancaster, (part of) the cost for an event at Lancaster University, and expenses associated with research activity during the Fellowship. Please provide an indicative budget in your application, detailing the amount of funding you would like to request and how you intend to spend the award.

Fellows will be expected to spend a minimum of 1 calendar month in residence at CeMoRe (this may be split into two shorter visits). You will be expected to collaborate with members of CeMoRE to organise a seminar or workshop on the topic of your research, and you will be asked to write a blog about your time at Lancaster.

*To apply for the fellowship, please submit a CV with a 1 page covering letter detailing: *

(1) how your research connects to CeMoRe;

(2) what you plan to do during your time in Lancaster;

(3) how you might build long term connections to the Centre via the fellowship.
