An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our vibrant UEL Games Teams to teach Computer Game Design and Development at undergraduate level.

Our BA Computer Games Design (Story Development) and BSc Computer Game Development degrees predominantly focus on developing interesting gameplay and making games in addition to the programming, graphical, project management and story aspects of games design. You will have in-depth knowledge of the games design process: conceptualizing, planning, designing, and developing gameplay and games. You should also have a good understanding of the project management methodologies and processes used in game production.
Knowledge / Experience in some of the following areas are also of benefit:

•    Designing games for commercial publication
•    Developing games using game engines (e.g Unity3D, Unreal)
•    Developing Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality games
•    Developing assets for use in a game
•    Narrative game design

You will add to our research and/or consultancy profile and contribute to course and module management and development. You will have significant games industry experience in the capacity as a game designer or developer preferably with published titles to your credit or have a PhD (or be 6 months away from completion) with previous HE teaching experience.
