*Two vacant positions at **the Department of Media Studies at Charles 
University in Prague:*

Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University invites 
applications for a *full-time position of academic staff at the 
Department of Media Studies* at the Institute of Communication Studies 
and Journalism.

*Requirements:*
● Higher education, at least Ph.D. (or proofed perspective of obtaining 
the Ph.D. title before the start of the employment)
● Experience with teaching
● Teaching in English
● The results of relevant scientific publications, experience with grant 
funding.
*The required expertise in research and teaching:*
*orientation in social-science research methods, media systems and media 
theory.*
*Expected start date: September 1, 2017*.
