*Call for papers for the 20^th annual conference*

*Kinneret College, Israel, April, 17, 2016*

Israel communication association (ISCA) celebrates its 20^th anniversary
in a festive conference at Kinneret College, on Sunday, April 17, 2016.

For the first time, ISCA invites international scholars, including
graduate students, to take part in its annual conference. Scholars from
around the world, especially those who study Israeli and Middle Eastern
media and communications, are invited to submit proposals for papers or
panels.

*ISCA**:*Israel communication association is a scholarly professional
association of Israeli media and communications scholars and lecturers.
ISCA President is Professor Elihu Katz, one of the world most
distinguished communication scholars.  ISCA annual conference hosts two
keynote speakers and holds three timeslots of parallel sessions
comprised of several panels each.

*Location:*Kinneret College is located on the southern shores of the Sea
of Galilee in northern Israel, a short distance from Tiberias.

*Accommodation**:*ISCA will help to secure accommodation for the
conference participants in Tiberias, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

*Language:*The conference will be held in Hebrew, but Non-Hebrew
speaking scholars are welcome to present papers, panels or roundtables
in English.

*Types of Submissions*

*Papers*: Accepted papers will be formed into panels by our program
committee. They require a title (50 words), an extended abstract (800
words), and three tags.Acceptance for presentation at the conference is
based on a double blind peer-review.

*Panels*: Panels are submitted in full with 4 papers for review by our
program committee. They require a title (50 words), an abstract (250
words), three tags, a chair, a discussant, and abstracts of 4 papers
(800 words each).

*Roundtables*:Roundtables are submitted in full for review by our
program committee. They do not have papers and are designed for expert
discussion on a topic. They require a title (50 words), an abstract (250
words), three tags, a chair and at least 4 participants.

*Best Book Award**: *Books on media and communications published by ISCA
members during the last two years (2014-2016), may be submitted for the
ISCA Best Book Award.**

*Deadline for submission: January 10, 2016
Notification of acceptance: March 1, 2016
