It is with great pleasure that we announce the online publication of the
2014 issue of /Seachange/ on the theme of “Practice(s),” which we invite

This fifth issue of /Seachange/ explores “Practice(s)” through a
selection of short essays and interviews discussing topics ranging from
anthropology, psychotherapy, dance, music, visual art, the cooking of
both foods and methamphetamine, to yoga and basketball, in order to
examine the physical, socio-economic, and philosophical implications of
practice.

In particular, we'd like to draw your attention to the contributions by
Michael Taussig (Columbia University) and Hélène Baril (Visual Artist),
Jason Pine (SUNY Purchase), as well as Marsha Pearce (The University of
the West Indies).

All our issues can be downloaded as full PDFs and all articles are also
individually accessible. Please feel free to email us your comments and
