[ecrea] New Directions in Film and Television Production Studies, 14-15 April 2015: Penultimate reminder

New Directions in Film and Television Production Studies is a two-day 
international conference hosted by UWE Bristol and Portsmouth University 
taking place at Watershed Bristol on 14 and 15 April 2015. Featuring 
keynote presentations from speakers including Professor John Thornton 
Caldwell (UCLA), Professor Philip Drake (Edge Hill University) and 
writer-producer Tony Klinger, the conference brings together an 
international community of scholars and industry professionals to take 
stock of developments in the field thus far and explore new directions 
for scholarship in the future.



In addition to a wide array of presentations and position papers, the 
conference also features a panel discussion, supported by Edge Hill 
University, exploring Productions Studies from an industry perspective. 
The panel will be chaired by Professor Roger Shannon (Edge Hill 
University) and speakers include Laura Marshall (Icon Films), Kate 
Ogborn (Fly Films), Rod Stoneman (National University of Ireland, 
Galway) and Frank Mannion (Swipe Films).
