Salary £32,277 to £47,328 (pro rata) per annum, dependent on experience

We are looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to teach within the Film 
and Scriptwriting, and Creative Writing teams. The teams have good 
professional standing with many credited contributions to television, 
radio and stage. Working alongside screen academics, the post is an 
addition to a dynamic and thriving area.

You will contribute to undergraduate module teaching in a range of 
scrip-related modules and be will be responsible for engaging with 
students in their final year projects. You will lead modules, and you 
will be expected to contribute to the broader life of the area, for 
example, attendance at team meetings and engaging in curriculum design.

You must have a PhD in Film, TV, Script Writing or related area (awarded 
or submitted) or significant professional recognition. You must also 
have well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, 
practical and theoretical issues relevant to Scriptwriting, and also the 
ability to teach across a range of Script modules. You will have 
evidence of professional experience in scriptwriting for TV, film or 
radio broadcast with a proven track record of commissioned and/or 
broadcast work.
