- Media discourses
- Intercultural communication
- Sports and media
- Language and media language uses
- New media and social media
- Gender studies
- Cinema
- Popular culture
- Media and cultural industries
- Public relations and advertising
- Tourism and cultural heritage

CJCS's overall aim is to disseminate research that will inform and 
stimulate scholarly interest in Catalonia as a complex society with a 
growing international profile. CJCS publishes blind peer-reviewed 
articles in English.

We invite contributions from scholars, researchers and practitioners 
from around the world working in the above mentioned fields who wish to 
publish their works in a journal with a truly international scope. We 
especially encourage young researchers and doctoral students to submit 
articles.
