Seminar on Communication and Citizen Participation in the Politics of 
Energy and Climate Change

The seminar will be an end of award event for the project COMPOLIS -- 
Communication and Public Engagement with Environmental Issues:

The project team and five guest speakers will discuss the roles of the 
media in promoting or hindering citizen participation in the politics of 
energy and climate change, citizen views of participation, the discourse 
of policy documents and alternative discursive practices in community 
movements on climate change. The detailed programme will be announced later.

The seminar will take place on the 12th of November, prior to the start 
of the ECREA conference, at SOCIUS, Instituto Superior de Economia e
