> O 5º Encontro de Tipografia é organizado pelo Departamento de Design
da Escola Superior de Tecnologia (EST) do Instituto Politécnico do 
Cávado e do Ave (IPCA), em Barcelos.
> Partindo do tema geral UBÍQUA pretende-se reflectir a tipografia que
existe em todos ou em praticamente todos os lugares, nos seus variados 
contextos e aplicações.
> Tem como principal objetivo continuar a estimular a divulgação,
reflexão e discussão sobre a investigação e o desenvolvimento 
tipográfico a nível nacional e internacional.
> Para tal, contamos com a participação de investigadores,
profissionais, docentes e alunos e a sua partilha de trabalhos ou 
experiências resultantes de projectos académicos, na área da tipografia 
ou exercícios práticos em contexto profissional.
> CHAMADA DE TRABALHOS
> A organização do 5.º Encontro de Tipografia, subordinada ao tema
UBÍQUA, apela à apresentação de comunicações ou posters, contribuições 
académicas e/ou profissionais originais, nos diferentes contextos de 
aplicação tipográfica:
> • Desenho de tipos de letra
> • Tipografia e identidade
> • Tipografia e tecnologias
> • Ensino, história e crítica de tipografia
> • Tipografia e projeto
> A submissão de comunicações e posters de projetos (académicos ou
profissionais) deve ser feita através do sistema de submissão online.
> Consultar instruções e procedimentos em:

> Os trabalhos aceites pela comissão técnica e científica serão
publicados num livro de atas, com ISBN.

> Até 31 de Julho > Notificações de aceitação. Comunicação da aceitação
das propostas com ou sem recomendações de melhoria.

> The 5th Meeting of Typography is organized by the Design Department
of the Superior School of Technology (EST) of the Polytechnic Institute 
of Cávado and Ave (IPCA) and is being held in Barcelos, Portugal.
> This year's meeting takes it's theme – UBIQUITOUS – from the
typography's quality of existing everywhere, or almost everywhere, in 
it's diferent contexts and aplications.
> The main objective is to stimulate the dissemination, reflection and
discussion about typographic research and development on a national and 
international scale. To do so, we will have a program that includes the 
participation of researchers, practitioners, teachers and students and 
their investigations or professional experientes dedicated to typography.
> Paralel to the presentations program, there will be invited keynote
speakers with an excellence path in the constantly evolving world of 
typography, as well as a discussion panel, an exhibitions, workshops and 
social events.
> We aim to combine investigation, education, and professional
activity, as well as contribute to a rich cooperation and sharing of 
creative ideas within the typographic community.
> CALL FOR PAPERS
> The organization of the 5th Meeting of Typography, with the subject
ubiquitous, calls for submission and presentation of originals short 
papers or posters, academic contributions and/or professional in various 
application of typographic contexts:
