[ecrea] ECREA’s 5th European Communication Conference Keynote Speakers Confirmed

ECREA, in partnership with Lusofona University, is proud to announce the keynote speakers of the 5th European Communication Conference (ECC), due to take place in Lisbon from 12 to 15 November 2014.

The conference, with the overarching theme 'Communication for Empowerment: Citizens, Markets, Innovations’, will host the following keynote speakers:

- Diogo Pires de Aurélio
- Kees Brants
- Kirsten Drotner
- Natalie Fenton
- Christian Fuchs
- Tristan Mattelart


ECREA’s European Communication Conferences are major opportunities for communication scholars to meet and debate issues within a European context, allying conviviality with critical thinking and scholarly excellence.

The call for panels, individual papers and poster proposals on inter- and transcultural communication phenomena and/or on comparative research that link the general conference theme is currently open and will close on 28 February 2014.
