Another year has passed. Hereby we dare to invite you to an 
international scientific conference Megatrends and Media 2014: 
Communication Fields in Media Space on 15th - 16th April 2014 in the 
beautiful location of Smolenice Castle. The conference is organized by 
the Faculty of Mass Media Communication, University of Ss. Cyril and 
Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia.



Sections according to contribution topics:

1. Role of media in democratization: ideal and reality

2. Cognitive processes in media communication

3. Perspectives on protecting media audience

4. Humanizing aspects of electronic media

5. Globalization of marketing and collapse of space-time in media



The international scientific conference held annually by the Faculty of 
Mass Media Communication UCM in Trnava has become a traditional event 
with support and attendance of professionals from theory and practice of 
mass media communication – mass media studies. The goal of the 
conference is to present and exchange the current knowledge and 
experience reflecting media and trends connected to them nowadays (for 
more details see annotations of individual sections).

Dates:

* 1st April 2014 – deadline for application forms
* 4th April 2014 – deadline for papers

We are convinced that the focus of individual sections will be appealing 
and interesting enough for you to participate actively in any of them 
and in this way share the results of your scientific and professional 
work. Your papers will be published in scientific reviewed proceedings.
