Call for papers
VI International Scientific Conference “E-Governance”,
2-4 June, 2014 	Sozopol, Bulgaria
						
We cordially invite you to submit an Application Form by 10th  March, 2014 and present a
paper to the VIth International Scientific Conference (ISC) on the theme “E-Governance”.
The forum is organized by Technical University of Sofia – R&  DS, Faculty of Management,
Research and Education Centre for e-Governance and will take place in the town of
Sozopol, Bulgaria, on 2nd-4th June 2014.
The conference will be held within the framework of annual Science Days of Technical
University of Sofia. We are pleased to inform you that the plenary session of the VIth
ISC “E-Governance” will be held jointly with the opening ceremony of the Science Days -
2014 on 2nd June, 2014 at the Technical University of Sofia premises in the town of
Sozopol. Following the tradition the ceremony will be broadcasted on-line and there will
be videoconference connection with Technical University Rectorat at Sofia and other
participants from abroad.
The aim of the conference is to explore the challenges of the e-Democratization process
and the changes observed in the administrative management processes as a result of the
implementation of latest e-technologies. The focus of VI ISC “E-Governance” is on impact
of e-Governance on modern society, as theoretical aspects and practical solutions aiding
the “E-Governance” education also.
Themes will include, but will not be limited to:
•E-Democratization and Management Processes
•E-Governance State of Arts and Trends
• E-Governance Education
•Public and Business E-Governance
All sessions will be supported with video conference connection. Participants will be
able to take part on site or distance (remote) via Web based videoconferencing.
Suggestions for workshop topics are welcome. Please e-mail your suggestions by 25th

To increase the involvement of young researchers their presentations will take place on
work shop also. The winners of student’s course works/projects and PhD competitions can
present their results. Show forum for ”good practices” demonstration in public and
business administration will take place.
The VI ISC “E-Governance” stimulates collaboration, discussions, sharing ideas and
exchange of experience among academics, researchers and practitioners of all countries.
Innovative presentations, practical experience and case studies on topics such as open
government, collaboration modelling, videoconference interaction, virtual
administration, cloud services, smart technologies, paperless management, and others are
encouraged.
All accepted and registered papers will be included in the VI ISC “E-Governance”
Proceedings with ISSN number. The selected papers will be submitted for inclusion in the
SSRN e-library with citation index.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
•March 10, 2014 – Application forms submission;
•March 20, 2014 – Acceptance notification to authors;
•April 30, 2014 – Full paper submission;
•May 10, 2014 – Publishing the Conference program with accepted papers;
•May 18, 2014 –Submission of the registration forms;
