growing digital design portfolio. Teaching, and performing specialist 
research, in areas such as Multimedia, Principles of Visual Design, Web 
Design and Games Design across a range of undergraduate programmes, we 
will support your ongoing research ambitions and career development.

We continue to develop our provision in Digital Media, with an emphasis 
on growth in the areas of Creative Leadership and Digital Design. Our 
talented team are involved in internationally significant research with 
collaborative partners from across the globe – and this is your 
opportunity to contribute to our future direction and success.

As this role combines teaching, research, scholarship and 
administration, your day-to-day duties are likely to involve developing 
objectives and proposals for individual and collaborative research 
projects, acting as a personal tutor for students, and helping in the 
continued development of Digital Design.

Along with a PhD in a relevant subject, you will be an ambitious, 
creative and proactive media practitioner with ongoing research 
ambitions in an area of Digital Design and Creativity. You will be open 
to ideas, flexible and have the vision to contribute to an 
interdisciplinary group of research active staff in the Digital Media 
team. Ideally, you will also have experience of teaching within higher 
education and possess a strong vision with regards to your personal 
research plans, including an understanding of how these plans may 
complement and extend the existing research activities of the team.

This post is fixed term until 30 June 2017.
