Part-time – 17.5 hours per week (0.5FTE)

22 months fixed term

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 talented and enthusiastic 
individuals to join the Creative Futures Institute in the role of 
Research Assistant.

The successful candidates will work alongside researchers within the 
Creative Futures Institute (http://creativefutur.eu) which is part of 
the School of Creative & Cultural Industries to support various projects 
that bridge such subjects as social media, creative and cultural 
industries, journalism, cultural policy, and digital art.

This role involves general research assistance, including data analysis, 
literature reviews, and liaison with research subjects, managing 
knowledge engagement events, supporting the Creative Futures Institute 
communication needs, and developing evidence of research impact.

Applicants must have a high level degree or equivalent qualification or 
equivalent relevant experience and, ideally, a postgraduate 
qualification in a related subject along with knowledge of quantitative 
and/or qualitative research methods. Expertise in social media methods 
will be particularly advantageous, as will evidence of innovation with 
social media platforms.

Although the posts are based at Paisley Campus, applicants should 
understand that there will be a requirement to work at various other 
locations in response to the needs of the projects.
