Post-doc position in social media and politics at Charles University, Prague

Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Social Sciences, seeks to 
appoint a post-doctoral researcher (part-time), starting from April 
2014, to work on the project “Transformation of political communication 
and civic participation in the context of social media”, carried out by 
the research group PolCoRe at the Institute of Communication Studies and 
Journalism (www.polcore.cz). The successful applicant will collaborate 
with the other members of the team on specific research and publication 
assignments related to the above stated topic, but he/she will be also 
encouraged to follow their own research agenda within this general 
framework (applicants with already running projects will be considered 
as well). Active knowledge of statistical data analysis and/or social 
media research methodologies an advantage. The duration of appointment 
is 21 months. The post is particularly suitable for distant collaboration.
