CALL FOR PAPERS VOLUME 3, ISSUE 2, (JUL-DEC, 2013) DECICATED TO “LATIN
AMERICAN CRITICAL THINKING”, IN COLLABORATION WITH ALAS
The Journal of Latin American Communication Research, sponsored by
ALAIC, invites academics and researchers to send manuscripts and
proposals to the Volume 3, Issue 2, dedicated to “Latin American
Critical Thinking. The issue looks for papers that expand or critique
our understanding about the development of critical thinking in Latin
America, a perspective that have brought an important corpus of
knowledge to communication studies. What is the current state of
critical thinking in the region? How critical thinking is facing the
challenges of new media? How is the map of media concentrations? Which
are the regional policies for media and communications? What is the
validity of traditional positions in critical thinking to understand the
currents dynamics of society? Even when these questions do not limit the
reception of manuscripts, they orientate the topic of this issue.

+ Submission Deadline: APRIL, 30th 2013
+ Notification of first Acceptance: JULY, 30th 2013
+ Notification of final Acceptance: AUGUST, 30th 2013
+ Publication Date: OCTOBER, 30th 2013
