[ecrea] Two Lecturer vacancies at the Abat Oliba CEU University of Barcelona School of Journalism

Applications are invited for two half-time teaching positions at the Journalism School of the Abat Oliba CEU University in Barcelona.

The Abat Oliba CEU School of Journalism is a young an proactive undergraduate and postgraduate centre that offers an International Journalism Undergraduate Program (50% in English), an Undergraduate International Communication Program (100% in English) and a Digital Communication Program (50% in English).

Successful applicants will have, or expect shortly to receive, a PhD, or be able to demonstrate appropriate professional experience. Applicants will have good teaching experience in English and evidence of the ability to produce high quality research publications. Candidates with teaching and research interests in

-new and digital media,

-media and globalization,

-journalism, and

-entrepreneurship and journalism

are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience in developing and managing academic curricula and in academic tutoring would also be well regarded. A knowledge of Spanish for institutional communication purposes is required.
