*The Department of Communication at the University of Haifa invites 
outstanding candidates to apply for an open-rank position.* The 
department offers single and double major B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. programs 
in diverse fields of theoretical communication studies to over 400 
students at any one time. We are particularly interested in candidates 
with a record of publications in the fields of health communications, 
new media, or strategic communication (public relations or advertising). 
However, excellent candidates in other fields of communication research 
will be considered. Ph.D. in communication and post-doctoral experience 
are advantages. Only candidates with their Ph.D. in hand, or candidates 
expected to complete their doctoral studies by October 2011, will be 
considered.

Applications for the position should include:

1) Curriculum vitae, including academic biography, research interests 
and future plans

2) Description of potential courses

3) List of 3 references (Please do not send letters until requested by 
the committee.)

4) Copies of selected recent publications
