Applications and all the supporting documents for the 2011/ 2012 academic year
must be received by

January 30, 2011; in case more spaces are still available the late applications
will be accepted by April 30, 2011.

The MA in Cultural Production is a 2,5 year program, and all the sessions are
held in English language. It is open to local and international students from
across the world. The program is part time and consists of 5 semesters. Each
semester has 2 blocked sessions that are held in Salzburg. The
trans-disciplinary curriculum is laid out at the intersections of art practice,
cultural and communication studies, and a social science approach to economy.
Cluster topics in relation to Space & Location, Vision & Change and Networks &
Decentralisation allow for specialisation in one of the central fields of
cultural production. Depending on personal interests, students will propose
their own project ideas, which will be further developed and implemented in
their contextual complexity throughout the program course. The MA program also
includes a 3-week internship, individual coaching and a Master thesis.

The selected professors and lecturers are: Hildegund Amanshauser, Jens Badura, Annette Baldauf, Ute Meta Bauer, Diedrich Diederichson, Elisabeth Klaus, Monika
Mokre, Carmen Mörsch, Nicky du Plessis, Evangelia Psychogiopoulou.

The program tuition is 2500 EUR per semester. Each semester must be paid in
advance. Partial Scholarships are offered.

Taking into consideration that the new coming students of the 2011/ 2012
academic year will need time to prepare their travel logistics, such as
receiving the appropriate visa, finding housing in Salzburg, as well as some
might need time to research and apply for additional scholarships and
fellowships, the admission process will be carried out in two phases.

*Phase 1: Starting December 15, 2010 you may apply for the MA in Cultural
Production. The program will start in October 2011. The applications will be
accepted until January 30, 2011. You will be confirmed of your acceptance to

* Phase 2: If spaces are still available, more applications will be accepted
until April 30, 2011. You will be confirmed of your acceptance to the program
