The International Listening Association was formed in 1979 to promote
the study, development, and teaching of effective listening in all
settings. The annual convention, to be held at both the Millennium
Centre and the Carnegie Hotel & Spa, is for professionals from diverse
backgrounds to share information, to support research efforts, and to
promote the practice and teaching of effective listening.
The International Listening Association's mission is to advance the
practice, teaching, and research of listening throughout the world.
