Zeppelin University is a state-recognized and accredited private university founded in 2003. Currently organized in three academic departments bridging business, culture and politics, we are dedicated to excellence in interdisciplinary research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Department of Communication & Cultural Management | CCM invites applications for the following academic position:

| Professor of Media Theory

The successful candidate will represent the field of media theory in research and teaching. Teaching areas include media theory, history of media, theory and practice of moving pictures and new media. The successful candidate should have a strong background in these or related areas, demonstrated through publications in renowned international journals. A significant involvement in training in empirical methods is desired.

We expect: In addition to outstanding research performance, excellent didactic skills to teach demanding courses in the bachelor and research-oriented master programs, as well as programs of continuing education, an interest in trans-disciplinary research as well as a willingness to contribute to the acquisition of third-party research funding.

The usual prerequisites are required for an application, including a habilitation or equivalent scientific achievements.
