Clifton campus
The School of Arts and Humanities wish to
appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Media to
support both the BA Media and the Joint Honours
programmes within the School. The successful
candidate will contribute to teaching on
existing undergraduate modules in media, with a
specific focus on journalism studies, and also
develop their own specialist teaching in the
field within the Communication, Culture and
Media Studies (CCM) team in the School.
The ability to contribute to other aspects of
teaching across the CCM curriculum would be an
advantage. The successful candidate will also be
expected to make a substantial contribution to the CCM team's research profile
The successful candidate is expected to be in post by 1 October 2009.

Clifton campus
We are seeking an experienced journalist to play
a central role in delivering the undergraduate
journalism studies pathway within our very
successful BA Media degree course. The post is
situated on the Clifton campus, within the
Communication, Culture and Media academic team.
The successful candidate will have a close
relationship with the industry and experience of
working across a variety of media platforms and
ideally have experience of teaching at
university level. Excellent communication
skills, an ability to motivate and enthuse
students and to work closely within a team are all essential for the role.
The successful candidate is expected to be in post by 1 October 2009.
