UNESCO WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY

UNESCO is marking World Press Freedom Day on 3 May 2005 by holding an
international conference in Dakar, Senegal on the theme of media and good
governance. The UN agency's website contains information on the conference,
links to press freedom groups around the world and a profile of Cheng
Yizhong, winner of the 2005 UNESCO/Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize.
