[eccr] NetMedia conference set for Barcelona

NetMedia conference set for Barcelona

Barcelona will host this year's NetMedia conference and
awards.  NetMedia, in its ninth year, will focus on how to
make money from online content.  It will be held at the
University of Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, on July 3.  The
keynote address will be delivered by Dr Guntram Geser from
Salzburg Research on 'The Future of Electronic Publishing in
2010'.  The NetMedia European Online Journalism Awards will
take place at the same time. The Mayor of Barcelona, will chair the
Awards ceremony and deliver the closing address.  Both the
awards and the conference are being organised in partnership
with the European Journalism Centre, the European Federation
of Journalists, The University of Pompeu Fabra, The Collegi
de Periodistes de Catalunya, the Grup de Periodistes
Digitals and the Centre Internacional de Premsa de
Barcelona.  Media partners include El Pais, El Periodici and
Avui.
