Transnational Risks - the Responsibility of the Media & the Social 
Sciences - Jan 2-10 2004 - Berlin, Germany
Will explore how knowledge about global issues is gathered, packaged 
and distributed by transnational organisations and whether the public 
is being denied full access to relevant information about risks to 
their freedoms or quality of life. The conference will also attempt to 
determine what kind of information or assumptions currently guide 
political responses to transnational risks.
