[Commlist] Materials of Sound - Special issue of Journal of Sonic Studies published

Andy Birtwistle is pleased to announce the publication of a new special 
issue that may be of interest to those working in media, communication, 
and cultural studies with connections to sound research.

"Materials of Sound" (JSS28) has just been published in the Journal of 
Sonic Studies, co-edited by Lauren Redhead and myself. The issue 
explores the materiality of sound across various contexts, examining how 
sound functions as both medium and material in contemporary culture.

The collection brings together interdisciplinary perspectives that
