Subject: New issue of Contratexto Journal of Communication on Media 
Education (Peru)

The 35th issue of Contratexto has been published. It contains the 
Dossier “Actors, conditions and contemporary practices of mass-media use 
and consumption of political information”, edited by Pamela Paz García 
(Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina), Fábio Pereira (Universidad 
de Brasilia, Brazil) and María Mendoza Michilot (Universidad de Lima, Peru).

It addresses the dynamics of appropriation and routines of media 
consumption of political information. The thematic dossier includes 
seven articles that reveal the impact of socio-digital devices on the 
new media diets and their consequent ways of activating political 
citizenship.

This edition has the collaboration of authors and reviewers from 
Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, the United 
States, Spain, France, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru and the United Kingdom.

We remind you that the call for papers for the next issue is open. It 
will be dedicated to new forms of educational communication: the 
extended classroom. The closing date for receiving contributions is June 
15th, 2021.
