[Commlist] PhD Candidate - ‘Race’, Inclusion and Football (Soccer) (1.0 fte) - Erasmus University Rotterdam

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate who wishes to 
conduct a PhD research in the context of a collaborative research 
project of Erasmus University Rotterdam, the European Football 
Association UEFA, the worldwide players’ union FIFPRO, and 
anti-discrimination in football organization Fare. The project aims to 
get to the roots of racism and address the wider ‘breeding ground’ of 
racism in football in order to challenge it more effectively. The 
following general research themes have been identified as the focus of 
the research agenda: 1) Players, coaches, referees and fans, 2) Media, 
communication and campaigning, 3) The football industry, 4) Grassroots 
level.
