Open position at the EBU’s Media Intelligence Service
The European Broadcasting Union is the professional association of
public broadcasters in Europe, devoted to making public service media
indispensable. If you want to contribute to this task and work directly
with some of world’s top broadcasters, its Media Intelligence Service is
looking for a Visiting Researcher. This is a fixed-term position for 16
months based in Geneva from 1 September 2021 or the sooner the candidate
could join, ideal for an early-career researcher who wants to broaden
his/her perspectives working in an international and multicultural
environment.
The Visiting Researcher will have a supporting role for the senior media
analysts in the team. S/he will carry out diverse research tasks
including: data collection and processing, documentation, and production
of high quality reports, slide decks, datasets and presentations.
S/he will be required to be polyvalent, addressing topics in diverse
fields of knowledge related to public service media and the media
market, including market trends, media consumption trends, and digital
activities and strategies. Knowledge of the audio market is a plus. In
addition, s/he will be also involved in the provision of information on
request to the EBU Members and Departments.
