The University of Northern Iowa <http://uni.edu> (UNI) is seeking 
applications for a two-year term position to be housed in the Department 
of Communication Studies, in the College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences.

This position requires teaching four courses each semester (12 credits 
per semester). It will also seek to foster the

Interactive Digital Studies <http://ids.uni.edu> curriculum, with a 
focus in web development and interactive communication, and advise 
students in the program. Applicants should be prepared to teach coding 
and digital visualization skills in a lab environment, and be able to 
demonstrate new developments in interactive media.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Media/New Media, Art and 
Technology, Digital Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, 
Communication Studies, English, or other related field plusat least two 
years of experience in web development and college-level teaching, and 
demonstrated written and oral communication skills required.

Preference will be given to applicants with a record of creative 
activity; experience working with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, 
HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, XML, and Java; record of excellence in college 
teaching; and experience with app development.
