[ecrea] Job Posting: Assistant Professor of Mass Communications

The Department of Mass Communications at Emory & Henry College requests 
applications for a full-time, tenure-track colleague at the rank of 
Assistant Professor of Mass Communications with a concentration in 
public relations, strategic communication and advertising.

The department seeks candidates who will support our strong 
undergraduate program that emphasizes a liberal arts approach to theory 
and practice, social responsibility, project based learning and 
community engagement. The department seeks a colleague with a strong 
commitment to innovative and engaged teaching and student success to 
teach a 3:3 load, and to establish, recruit for, and advise an 
intercollegiate forensics program.

*QUALIFICATIONS*

The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty of liberal arts 
scholar/professors at Emory & Henry College by making significant and 
meaningful contributions to the curriculum inside and outside of the 
department.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in discipline-related field expected by 
contract start date (but an advanced ABD will be considered), evidence 
of teaching excellence, an ability to build connections within the 
academic community, and a record or promise of published scholarship.
