Open position for a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of 
Communication, Tel Aviv University*

Tel Aviv University hereby invites candidates for a postdoctoral 
fellowship in communication (or a related discipline). The Department is 
particularly interested in the following areas of scholarship: political 
communication; social psychology and public opinion research; media 
industry; journalism; media history; social networks; health 
communication. The candidate must have been awarded her/his Ph.D. within 
the last 5 years (or expected to be awarded by March of 2018). (S)he 
must not be employed in another institution more than half-time.

The one-year fellowship could begin as early as March 2018, and not 
later than October 2018. The fellowship carries a stipend of $20,000. 
The recipient will be expected to teach one elective course or seminar 
in the Department’s M.A. S/he will also actively participate in the 
activities of the Department.  Candidates should be highly motivated and 
have a record of scientific publications.

following subject: “postdoc application of (family name of the 
applicant)”. The following documents must be attached:

•A Curriculum Vitae with a list of publications (including submitted papers)

•One published paper or submitted manuscript

•A two-page description of a research proposal

•Two letters of recommendation to be sent directly to Professor Eli Dresner
